Agreed, they just take a data stream and archive it; most of the magic
is having something to pull data from the client (I think it had some
integration to TurboStore).  Ironically, Legato now supports several
Linux builds.

We had considered Legato/iX since we already use Legato for HPUX,
Solaris, NT, and lesser Windows machines.  Would be nice to stream
over those backups to a DLT library.  But we have TS7x24 so never
investigated the key points of Legato/iX (could it do online?) and
it was pricey compared to other Legato clients.
