Howdy,

To continue the ongoing notes on transition from 3k to 9k:

I spent a lot of last week on Computer Based Training (CBT). Don't like it. Sitting and
clicking about hither thither and yon.......boring. I (personally) prefer either audio visual,
get a book and read it or the old fashioned, expensive, go to school method. In summary
CBT is better than nothing but IMHO sucks.

What else..ummm, well the K460 has arrived and will be plugged in next Tuesday. All
2100 pounds of it. It's only half full, talk about scalability geesh we're already looking at
some more disc drives, memory and maybe a CPU to support some new engineering
drawing requirements. By the way, anyone got a spare IP address they want to sell
cheap?

Anyhow, the 460 will be positioned about 36 inches from the 987. My questions are:

1. Will the 3k pout?
2. Will the 3k get in a snit?
3. Will the 9k attempt to dominate?
4. Will they get into it as in "kickin' and gougein in the mud the blood and the beer"?
5. When we finally roll the 3k 987 out the door will it sleep? Will it dream.

Regards,
