I agree with Stan, we the user community should NOT
necessarily accept this situation.  But at least for the
short term, the only way we could use the passworded
utilities if we need them is to go through the current
process for getting that !@#$%^& password.
 
This seems like a good subject for the management
roundtable at IPROF.
