Hello All,
In addition to Craig's questions:
What version of MPE, FTP, Network, etc?
:showme
:nmmaint,73
:nmmaint,50
:nmmaint,3
nettool.net.sys --> resource --> display
:nettool.net.sys;info="res;di;quit"
What does the jinetd job look like?
:print jinetd.net.sys
Make sure the "Pri=" parameter is not included on the "run inetd.net.sys"
line. You should have the most recent INT patch installed for inetd to run
at the correct priority with out impacting the operation of the services it
spawns! It is not safe to alter the priority of inetd with the "pri=" or
with altproc commands.
Also do you see any errors in the $stdlist of the jinetd job?
Finally what does the stack trace of inetd look like?
When the problem is being seen, use :showproc to get the decimal pin of the
inetd process.
:run inetd.net.sys;debug
>pin #<inetd decimal pin>
>tr,d,i
>tr,d,i <several more times>
>quit
Regards,
James Hofmeister

Randy,
What version of MPE, FTP, Network, etc?
Are you up to date on patches?
Is the network clean?
LINKCONTROL @,a
nettool.net.sys --> resource --> display
Check your gatelist to make sure nothing has changed you are not aware of.
Good Luck,
-Craig
