Dear Michael:

Thank you for the wonderful post. Our CEO and CFO found it
extremely amusing and hope someday to work with you
personally when we do our next upgrade. I wonder if you
have ever been on the other side of the fence. Fortunately,
Lund's tier pricing is reasonable (for the time being).

Other vendors (IMHO) have serious problems with their tiers.
At some point I have had to say enough, regardless of how
much I like a software product or developer, and had to look
for other solutions (even other platforms) to continue to
provide services. There are a few well know 3k developers
that I will NEVER do business with again because their tiers
are absolutley (IMHO again) ridiculous.

After using someone's software (and yes, I said use, not
purchase -- I do agree with the need for liscensing) for a
long time, your operations become wrapped around it. I
wonder if you know what it's like to revamp your operations
because feel like your being bled...

I really think you need to see Wirt's repost of John
Alleyn-Day's message.
