This is how I have replaced drives, twice. I use several switches for
various reasons, but SYS and XCOPY did the trick, confirmed by DIRs and
CHKDSKs for numbers of files, directories, and bytes used. But the first
time was immediately before upgrading to Win95, and I started using
Windows Messaging and IE instead of CIS (Compuserve's interface). On the
rare occasions when I have to use CIS, I noticed it behaving strangely.
But CIS is free, and worth every penny.
