   Ok... I will chime in on this one....

    AICS makes and distributes (via their web page) a great *FREE* emulator...
we have it in use here with good results.... :) (see Wirt I remembered to
mention QCTerm!!! hehehe)

   For your power users/programmers you may need to get the scripting abilities
of Reflection... or Minisoft.... I have used both over the years....   Also, you
didn't mention how you would have your users/programmers/others talking to the
3k and that might make some impact on which emulator you would want to run.
