Yes, that's another way to express what Wirt Atmar suggested a while ago,
before 11/14 I think ... spinning out CSY.

I basically supported the approach, exceptfor one single point. The only
concern I had at the time, and that remains valid today in retrospect, is
how to dsign a sufficiently and inherently reliable business model, to
ensure such an organization can sustain itself into profitability for the
foreseeable future.

Remember, history tells us that one-product organizations have never been
successfull, like one-hit wonders have never remained on the charts for more
than a few weeks.

Better be Bruce Springsteen (3 decades, and still counting) than some
obscure 16-year old chick who's gonna be long forgotten even before she's
fully cashed her royalty check.

(mind the wrap)

"When HP announced that it was no longer in HP's best interest to
continue with the hp3000, my reaction was one of joy. I believed
that -- once HP was out of the hp3000's way -- MPE-IMAGE would be
able to prosper "under new management"."

"HP, unfortunately, had other ideas. <<snip>>"
