An "excellent" idea (mostly because I had the same idea.....
You may have some problems with software having to be on both systems. Our
current release of Omnidex version 3 requires mapped access to our index
files which reside with the database. Since mapped access cannot be done
over a network, we must have a copy of Omnidex on both systems (or at least
on the system with the database).
