Hi All,

    Does any body have a list of HP LP 2564C printer codes? I'm
Especially interested in the escape sequences used to change fonts, but
I'd like to have complete list if possible. I'm looking for a font in
between the standard 10cpi and compressed.

          Many Thanx,    Mike Drew

The codes are the basic PCL1 codes for printer control. The results will
depend what options were purchased with the printer. You may obtain the
printer options by running the test (05) from the panel.

There was a font (13.3,12 and 15 ) that came as an option, but I've not
seen it very often. The others were 10 cpi in high/normal/draft density,
16.67 (compressed) and 5 cpi (double size)

Anyway, depending on your internal font options, the codes are as follows:
esc&k[0,2,4,8]S

where 0 = 10 cpi
          2 = 16.7 cpi (or 13.3 if equiped)
          4 = 12.0 cpi (PCL 3)
          8 = 5 cpi  (HP256x printer only)

the remainder of the codes can be found in the Technical Reference Manual
part number 02564-90905.

Hope this helps
