  - This ought to be lot easier in the future...  referring to a thread
    seen not long ago where someone from HP CSY said something about one
    tape boot (?  hope I got it right??).   And yes, Mr. Verona should
    figure out what does it mean to a customer to be able to update to
    the next OS version (15+) times in 15..20 years and still be able to
    run the original application without recompile... in each of those
    versions...  ...not to even mention that a new version of any unix OS
    has no guarantee at release time that any of the 3rd party databases
    will run on it...  wait another 6 months after OS release to see the 3rd
    party database vendors to figure out what it takes to make the database
    to work on the next release...  ;-)
