DISMOUNT is a holdover from the classic days. It only works if your volume set uses classic naming restrictions (8 characters or less) and the volume set has been previously reserved with a MOUNT or VSRESERVE command.

The winner and new champeen is John Clogg with VSCLOSE!

DISMOUNT does not work.
Volume set is not physically mounted on the system (CIERR 10604)

Apparently you have to have the whole set mounted, not just
parts of it. Possibly obtainable if you have a working
Volume Set,(?) but if you're just randomly mounting old disks
to be scratched, it will probably never happen.
