I just learned that in our office, weeks end on Friday! I learned that
because I am working this weekend, and this weekend's extra work goes on
the next report. Why would someone have such a standard? Could it be
because people that have worked all weekend are more likely to want to
take time off after seven or more straight days, and that keeps all of
those weekend hours from becoming over-time? Have I been Dilberted (this
is a rhetorical question)? Or are they looking out for my own
well-being, so that I don't have to worry about taking personal days to
>get time off, after working all weekend?
