Ok just for fun, I pulled out my 1994 HP 3000 Price Guide:

987/200, 64MB RAM,100 user lic      $241,700
12 slot chassis                                          29,500
per 128MB RAM                                      11520
per 2GB disk drive                                     2800
console                                                      N/C!!
