Open source: In a POSIX world, fcron (http://fcron.free.fr/description.php) seems to be the leader of the cron pack. Now, if you want something that high end geeks use, you might try Torque (http://www.clusterresources.com/pages/products/torque-resource-manager.php). Don't let its cluster capabilities scare you off, it is nicely packaged for Linux home use. ;) But, you are looking for a Windows util, right? How about Job Scheduler (http://www.sos-berlin.com/modules/cjaycontent/index.php?id=osource_scheduler_introduction_en.htm)? Probably more what you had in mind, and you will be using Babelfish, if you need to read much of the documentation and don't read German. Commercial: How about A-Auto's Windows job scheduler (http://www.bspi.com/products/aauto.html)? Sounds decent, but I have no idea about price. You did say premium, right? (Can't resist) Take a look at Moab (http://www.clusterresources.com/pages/products/moab-cluster-suite/workload-manager.php). It is pretty reasonable per processor, and it even does Windows! :D OK, a bit of overkill, but if you have a bit of money and time to kill and drive an over sized V-8 (V-10?) equipped SUV, I think you will like this one! ;) - Pete * To join/leave the list, search archives, change list settings, * * etc., please visit http://raven.utc.edu/archives/hp3000-l.html *
