To be really fair, HP did have the 9000 system running 11 in about
10 hours..., but after that all the messing around with Oracle
reinstalls and changing kernal parms to make Oracle happy led to
rest of the story...

Nonetheless, 10 vs 3 hours is pretty impressive.  And the MPE time
included installation of stageable reactive patches on top of
6.0 PP2.

If we start adding time for patching, then we have to add time
to both.  Of course, we still haven't resolved some issues with
HPUX patches left over from the migration work.

We had a customized patch tape for the 9000, which isn't the
same thing but does save time.
