We recently installed a 2nd NIC in our 968 running 5.0. This NIC is
attached solely to an HP Remote Bridge which runs over a 56KB leased
line to another HP Remote Bridge, and then a bunch of networked PC's
running Reflections for NS/VT connections.

Our problem is this: after about 40 or so people start their session,
the sessions just begin dying. The NetIPC error is pretty generic, and
HP confirms that the only thing it really tells us is the the 3000
thinks the connection at the other end disappeared. We had AT&T stress
test the leased line and it runs clean. Both bridges are in good working
order and the bridge statistics show no dropped packets or unusual
errors.

The Response Center mentioned that there apparently should be a cache
table of IP addresses which have made NS connections, but that this
cache is empty, even when there are dozens of VT sessions going.

We even tested the terminators on the ThinLAN segment...50 ohms. There
are no other devices on this ThinLAN segment.

Anyone have any clues? At all? Please??
