Hi there

We currently have a SCO Unix box with 12 modems (9600 baud) that sends /
receives files from 36 remote HP3000 systems. The modem connection is made
from either the central system or from the remote HP3000.

We are considering going to a TCP/IP network solution where we would FTP the
files and be able to access the HP3000 using Telnet.

Is putting a Dialup ISDN router on the remote networks the best answer or
are there any better ideas.

Can you programmatically tell a ISDN router the number to Dial ?

Should we have a leased line connection to each of the HP3000's ?

Any suggestions ?

Chris
