If you're not using your terminal emulator's file transfer (at least
Reflection seems to do Roman8/PC conversion), but use ftp or Samba/iX
instead, then you might find a small C program helpful that Friedrich
Harasleben from Austria has written. Runs on the PC or the 3000 side
and offers various conversions (Roman8/Latin1/CodePage850/etc).

Not sure but it might be available on the www.sambaix.com site now.
If not, let me know, I might be able to dig up a small ZIP file for
sending by eMail (with Friedrich's permission).
