Hello everyone. I've installed Perl/iX from bixby.org.
on a test box running 5.5 pp7. The install apparently
went off without a hitch. Yet when I do this :
shell/iX>perl -e 'print "hello world\n"'
I get this :
**** EXEC FUNCTION FAILED; subsys =517; info = 48
ABORT: PERL.PUB.PERL
NM SYS a.00a90288 dbg_abort_trace+$24
NM UNKN 499.004d9f9c
NM UNKN a95.0004ac0c
[1] + Done(134) perl -e 'print "hello world\n"'
11272682 Abort perl
Of course when I execute it on a HP9000 it works like
a charm.
Is this error due to the lack of the patch LBCJXT6A ?
(To prevent Perl/iX from dying with an unresolved
external reference to _getenv_libc).
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks !
