<nostalgia and possible plug alert>
While I have nothing against Reflection - indeed I use it on a daily
basis,
I still have the fondest memories of a product from (pre Unison)
Tymlabs,
called Business Session. This product had what continues to be (as far
as i
can tell) a unique feature. There was a CopyWindow command on the edit
menu,
which allowed a clipboard copy of the Window that defined the
terminal
display, plus the function keys. No other product I've used has
provided
this functionality.

The results were perfect for both terminal and PC type displays,
because
there was nothing to indicate what the inderlying display platform
was. I
have create many volumes of documentation using this product, and it
remains
one of my favourites. I don't know if it is still for sale, or
supported,
but if you need to create screen-shot documentation for the Hp3000 it
is
sufficiently useful to justify the price, in my mind! Plus, the
support I
received for the product was a model of perfection and customer
focus!
</nostalgia, teary eyed!>

I forgot to mention that a copy from Reflection would not get the
function keys.
I've had to 'mock them up' before in documents.

Does Business Sessions CopyWindow create text or a bitmap? Also, it
occurs
to me that I can import many more graphic formats into exchange mail
and
Word than had been the case when some of the documentation had been
created (note the use of passive voice to mask my...I mean the
creator's identity). If I
convert the 'Print Screen' shots to jpegs and insert those into
Documents,
I should get reasonably-sized screen shots. However, I would want to
Crop off the extraneous Windows information - and this CopyWindow
function
Will already have done this, as you indicated.

I believe I have a copy somewhere. In the past, Unison/Tymlabs
had bundled it with Formation for the upload of the user-designed
Forms in it's windows-based forms designer. I don't know if it is
still included.

At any rate, when I dig it up, I'll try it. Thanks for the plug!
