Alvin York (WWI) from Tennessee, single handedly killed 25 enemy
soldiers and captured 132 others. He was also an excellent shot.
To which I add...
For those who like old war movies, one of my all-time favorites
was Sergeant York, 1941, starring Gary Cooper. Great movie!
