Right Shawn.  It is hard for a 3rd party to get a grip.  But as far as
the checks and balances part of it, much of those have broken down,
with the three branches of government encroaching upon each other's
territory depending upon which one has the most political influence.

None of this would be very important if we really were the Republic
the founders envisioned.  But I think things are bound to get worse.
