The first thing that comes to mind is that the file COMMAND.PUB.SYS is bad
or purged. This file contains all of the UDC references and links them with
their user.account.

The weird message that you saw looks like the system does not have a code
number for the problem.

Thanks!!

        Subject: UDC's

        Greetings,

Having 15 years on the HP3000's, I've come across something I've
never seen.
I have created some new users that are suppose to go directly into a
block
mode menu system, but instead they go directly to the colon prompt.
When I
log on as one of the new users and do a showcatalog, I get the
following
        message...

        :SHOWCATALOG
        MISSING MSG. SET=2. MESSAGE=70.
        GENMSG CALLER STATUS: %101000 DELTA-P: %177777
        GENMSG CALLER+1 STATUS: %140037 DELTA-P: %040000

There are suppose to be account and system UDC's assigned. Where
did they
        go?

I am sooooo confused. Any and all help is appreciated.
