I am being told, "Well, we (mgmt) think you should turn it all off, but do as you think right.  Oh by the way it will be your responsibility if anything happens if you don't."  Bah!  What nonsense.  What could go wrong other than power failing?  We have conditioned power to the computer room so spikes won't get through.  We will turn off PCs though.  But then we would anyway for a four day weekend.
