On the one hand, I agree.

On the other, "at least one" other supported server OS is not yet
y2k compliant. And, NEWS.COM has a story about the federal gov't
earmarking about $5 *billion* for y2k fixes.

So, since the issue still has a fair amount of mind share,
it seems that it needs to be mentioned.
