   You don't mention which version of MPE you are on... but if it is MPE/iX
6.5 pp2 then check with the response center... I don't remember which patch
is needed but there was a known issue with "ghost" sessions that would not
go away until you rebooted ... we had it happen her shortly after upgrading
to 6.5 pp2...

   I had to reboot the box :(
