Actually I am using Telamon's freeware MAIL program. And I am getting a
plain ".txt" attached.
Thanks again for all the help! It works fine now.

I'm not sure if you're trying to use FAX/3000's
Deliver.e function (which costs extra) or are you
trying to use Sendmail/iX?
The only thing that puts me in a 'tiff' about
FAX/3000's Deliver.e is that they never did
figure out a way to put the report into a
plain ".txt" attachment. It always converts
it into a ".tif" graphic. A waste of bandwidth
to be sure.

Subject: MPE: Fax3000 Reporting
Hi all,
I am a complete novice on FAX3000, but with the manual I learned already
quite a bit. Something that confuses me however, is that requests for
generating reports are handled by the main FAX3000-job. Even if it is
requested from within another job.
What I am trying to accomplish, is the following. We have FAX3000 main job
running, another job should create a report, but put it in a file, not send
it to a printer, so the job can send the file by email.
Is it possible to SET the report device to blanc, so I could set a file
equation for FAXRPRT=file ? Or am I looking in a wrong direction, and is
there an easyer way to accomplish this? Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks,
Peter Stoops
