Hello
You all can tell I have not been on this list in a long time. Can not
remember what heading to give for a product plug. Well this is sort of a
plug. We developed a program which takes HP BASIC code using Image calls and
converts it to COBOL using Oracle. We also had one to HP COBOL with Allbase.
But to the main point. What is the interest out there for such a
program/product. We get 100% conversion given just a few restrictions which
are flagged by processes run on the 3000. Please let me know, thanks.

        Mr Penney,
Let me know if there comes to life your request for a central clearing
house.

        James

Well, by means of a cc to the 3000-L group, let's see if there is the
interest to develop a medium for postings of this nature. More information
can only be helpful and help us avoid reinventing the wheel.

How about a "Best Migration Practices" posting or Website, listers?

Kind Regards

Paul Holland from Transoft, and a sales rep from their west coast office
(San Diego, I guess), just dropped by for a chat. It was interesting.
Paul's a good talker. The salesman didn't say much. Which, as it usually
turns out, is all for the better.

I think someone in the HP community should start a website, to which all of
us can contribute, comparing the info we have found. Or maybe even a Yahoo
groups message board.
