We are trying to change our DTC48's from being connected to a local HP3000
to connecting to a remote HP3000 over a routed network. The paper by
Hewlett-Packard, "RAFCP Theory of Operation" states that for a DTC48 to be
used a "Remote DTC" with Routable AFCP protocol, it must have "memory
extensions".
How can I tell if our DTC48's have the memory extension & support RAFCP?
In Openview DTC Manager, DTC48 icons show up as both "DTC48" and
"DTC48/3000" models. Which model supports Routable AFCP as a Remote DTC?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Regards,
Bill Titus
