My understanding was that the A/N boxes with MPE would only be sold until
11-2003, but that the same equivalent boxes would continue to be sold with
HP-UX until around 2005.  If that is the case, what additional OS
development is required?  I am not suggesting that MPE be updated for any
generation of PA-RISC beyond the present A/N boxes.  Unless I am wrong
about the above, the EOL/support dates are not based on the technical
points involved.

You have not addressed EOL policies on the HP-UX side (2003 vs. 2005, 5
year vs. 10 year support).  Even though you work at CSY I am sure that you
ar aware of the HP-UX strategy.
