Denys,

Apparently you read into my e-mail what you wanted to read, mischaracterized
what I did say, and misunderstood what I was saying.

I did not claim GW made the decision to go to war before 9/11. It doesn't
take mind reading to know that Iraq was the Administrations focus before
9/11 given the statements and testimony made by Paul O'Neal, Richard Clark,
George Tenet, GW, CR. You didn't understand that my statement was meant to
be a closing statement, summarizing my opinion after considering what you
had to offer.

By the way, Al Qaeda, its cells, other fundamentalist groups are still THE
ENEMY. Iraq, North Korea, Iran, et al. were some continue to be enemies.

...snip...
Al Qaeda and Iraq attacked us on several occasions and the most vigorous
response was to bomb empty tents and an aspirin factory.

(Yes, Iraq attacked us. The first WTC bombing was conducted by Iraqi
nationals and the bomb maker was able to get out of the country and go
back to Baghdad were he was well received by Saddam.)
