You can enable DNS resolution by setting up the RESLVCNF.NET file. There is
a sample named RSLVSAMP which you can modify. Warning: once you have set up
DNS address resolution, your system will not longer look at the HOSTS.NET
file for addresses. If you have anything set up there that is not on your
DNS server, you will need to add it to the DNS server or to your system
directory.

Subject: IP Address to DNS Name Resolution

I've been asked how the HP3000 resolves IP addresses to DNS names by someone
in Networking. His query is: "Can it be pointed to a DNS server or does the
name resolution have to be hard-coded?"

Does anybody know? My hunch is that the name resolution has to be
hard-coded.

Thank you in advance!
