One of our customers uses an LP475 printer (the un-quietised version!) for
printing text and large characters using an optional graphics card. Bar
code printing is certainly a possiblity but not currently used. These
printers seem to be re-badged Printronix printers with HP firmware. Works
OK but my view is that they are not as robust as say the 2563 family and
they are more expensive (at least here in NZ) than the equivalent
Printronix models.
