I had my Laserjet 5L running sweet as a spooled network printer via a
JetDirect Ex3 box. Now, since yesterday, every time I send a print job from
the HP3000, it prints OK, then again and again and again ...
The following messages show on the console,
11:14/158/Output spooler, LDEV #19: The IPCRECV intrinsic reported error
64 while waiting for a generic event completion. The error text is: REMOTE
ABORTED THE CONNECTION. (SOCKERR 64) Native Mode Spooler message 9646
11:14/158/Output spooler, LDEV #19: The device has reported a power
failure or other interruption while outputting SPOOLID #O116. The spooler
will attempt recovery. Native Mode Spooler message 9022
and :spooler netlp;show gives,
LDEV DEV SPSTATE QSTATE OWNERSHIP SPOOLID JOB STEP
19 00000019 ACTIVE OPENED OUT SPOOLER #O116 DATA, WAIT FOR
EOD
Any suggestions what might be causing this??? I've run out of ideas. We had
a power cut yesterday for about 90mins which screwed up a few things, but
can't see how it would cause this problem.
