I am running an A500-100-140 with one gb memory on 7.5 pp2 and usually about 15 users.
================

Has anyone had the same experience with an HP3000 system after a power outage?

The room temperature was over 110 yesterday after the power failed so my guess is the system had taken a beating. I arrived to restart the system and had performance issues. I remember in the past issues with cstm taking a large chunk of the system and that may be happening to me again. When I go into CSTM, I get the following message.

Does anyone know what this means? Have I hit a bug that requires a patch.
I am running an on-line backup which I do sometimes during the day but my performance is really bad.

Any help is appreciated

CSTM B8343AA.75.05 Version created TUE, MAR 23, 2004 8:24 AM
Running Command File (/usr/sbin/stm/ui/config/.stmrc).

This operation may take approximately one minute.
An unexpected error was encountered while attempting to retrieve the
host info for hostname (CALVERT1.MAIN.BOE).
This could be due to either of the following conditions:

1) The support tool daemon "diagmond" may not be running on that system.
Use the STM Startup command (in the administration menu under the
file menu.)

2) The IP address for the system may be invalid or may not be associated
with a valid host. Use a valid IP address.

3) Networking may be incorrectly configured on one of the systems involved.
Verify networking by comparing 'nslookup `hostname`' with the output
of ifconfig of the LANs identified by lanscan.

More details may be available in the System Activity Log and in the
syslog on that system.
It may be necessary to access these using the Local Unit Under Test (UUT) logs
(in the
administration menu under the file menu.)
Please Refer to the UI Activity Log for more details.
