A minute ago I read Chuck's post of the passing of Bruce Toback and was
shocked.  It was most unexpected.  Years ago I used to be an exhibitor at
Interex conferences, and I'd always enjoy my conversations with Bruce.

Bruce was a very bright, personable, HP 3000 expert, always willing to
discuss the HP 3000.  I remember I first meeting Vicky, a very lovely
person, at the 1986 Detroit conference.  After 1993 I wasn't able to attend
many conferences, and unfortunately I slowly lost touch with Bruce.

Bruce was the kind of person you liked knowing, the person you enjoyed
bumping into.  Bruce will be sorely missed.  My condolences and best wishes
to Vicky, Dovel, and Ailea.
