Hello Friends @ 3000-l,
Re: MPE/ix unidentified network buffer

Two days after w get the following numbers from nettool/resources/display from
our 939KS, buffer #11 maxes out and, just coincidentally(?), no one can log in
via TCPIP. Log ins via serial connection to DTC continued to work, but that's
all. Any idea what line 11 below is?

Hmmm... I am not sure I have seen this behavior before... but I know some
additional resources were added to be monitored with nettool.
Plan:
1. From this display it is apparent to me that NSTFD10 5.5 General Release
patch is not installed on this machine. NSTFD10 is older than dirt (it
is on PP5/PP6/PP7), it would be good to install this patch and then
monitor the #11 in nettool, I expect you will find this field is now
displayed correctly.
2. After you install this patch and are able to find more information on
what this field is about, I believe you will find you need to start
trouble shooting a link problem (see linkcontrol @;status=all).
3. Problems beyond this ? Time to work with the HP-Response Center and point
out nettool resource #11 to them :(
