Mark,

That patch has been superceded, but the new patch is still beta. In
other words, the new patch has not G/R'd yet, as far as I know. We have
the beta patch on our box because we had some severe telnet issues which
is appears to have fixed. Our box came to it's knees with the "I" patch
on it. Since we are a 24x7 operation, that was not acceptable. Since
installing the beta, we've had no problems to speak of......

A few weeks ago there was some discussion on the advisability of the
Telnet
"I" patch (PTDFDT3A). Has the court come to a verdict or is the jury
still
out?

The reason I ask is that I have a site that seems to be having Telnet
problems, and the one thing that's different between them and others is
that
this patch is installed. What is this patch anyway? I can't find any
reference to it on the ITRC.
