My 1st HP experience was a 2100 series running DOS IIIB installed at
Decca Radar (subsequently Racal Defence Systems). We had to boot it
using a short paper tape loader. This would have been early 1974.
About a year later we "graduated" to RTE-2 on my recommendation.
We had 32Kb memory and 2 Mbytes of disc space which included the OS and
ran a service supporting upto 16 users working mainly on R&D projects
for British Aerospace sub-contracts.
Happy days !! Unfortunately no old pictures.

As well as an HP3000/937 and a couple of HP9000's, we still run an A600+
system to support a few remaining HP1000 customers and to provide
migration services to RTE-UX which emulates RTE on HP-UX.
