Hi,
It looks like your logon udc is setting some variables and it just happens that
they starts with "HP".
I suggest , check you logon udcs and verify who is setting the variable in
question.
If you can :deletevar hpyouvar then it must be a user set variable.
HP variable are not deleteable as far as I know.

Thanks, However :HELP VARIABLES provides information about the variable I
already knew about or the meaning of which is rather easy to figure out
from the name. I still need information about some of the more less obvious
ones.
