Dave Darnell asks:

>What is the expected EOL of the DOCS.HP.COM documentation content for MPE?

Of even greater concern is what kind of support will we receive between 31
October 2003 and 31 December 2006? I recall a meeting with HP
representatives several years ago in which I demanded a refund of support
fees paid for a discontinued software product. They answered by saying
their records showed several calls to the Response Center during the period
in question. I answered that I had indeed placed the calls, but being
unable to answer questions and refusing to fix bugs does not constitute
support.

Are we faced with a similar scenario after 10/2003? With release 7.5 being
the final release of MPE, and probably not much time between its release and
the MPE EOL, will CSY retain a sufficient staff of experts to provide
meaningful support and correct the inevitable bugs? In other words, will it
be safe to install 7.5? I have serious doubts. Perhaps someone from CSY
can address these questions.
