Amtek is a good solid service company. I have done business with them since
1987(?) and they currently provide service to a major consulting client of
mine. They also acquired the hardware service business of Kelly Computer a
year ago. Amtek people know the HP-3000 hardware and have a good internal
support staff. If I needed a hardware service provider for a HP-3000 system,
Amtek would be one of my top choices.

I cannot say anything one way or another about their ability to service
clients at various locations around the US as I am local to them here in the
LA area. As with any hardware service vendor, the quality of service you get
depends a great deal upon the person covering your area. Just keep asking
them questions and let them build up the confidence.
