Hello John.  When you live under a cloud it will rain on you no
matter WHAT hardware/OS you get. Kidding here, but there is a
grain of truth in the above.  Computers, whether Macs of Wintels
are finicky beasts and complicated  enough to fail for inexplicable
reasons.  If you go Mac I hope you have better luck, but the problem
is that you will be further complicating the issue by the inter-
connectivity you need.
