Fast EtherChannel is a Cisco-proprietary term where you can combine from
1 to 4 100Mb (and now gigabit) network links and treat them as one fat
pipe.
It is not available on the 3000. I've seen press releases saying that
it
is supported on the 9000, but I have yet to find the hooks to make it
work.
It is only supported by a subset of hardware on a subset of their
Catalyst
switch series.

In the event you weren't referring to Cisco's "Fast EtherChannel" let me
cover two other bases:

If you meant "Fiber Channel" as an I/O interface, again no, not on the
3000 at this time; but it is available on the 9000 (we have a dual
FC-connected Nike 30 array).

And finally, if you meant "Fast Ethernet" that is available on both
platforms, as 100TX and 100VG.
