You're free to believe that. In point of fact, throughout the 20+ years
of this on-again-off-again relationship, I did marry and divorce (during
one of the 4-5 year with no contact periods). As it turned out, though
during his lifetime he adamently denied it, he had also married - but
didn't bother terminating the marriage when he evidently walked out.
I'm the lesser person for believing him, and trusting him. At least I
was honest with him - so that makes me the ogre and him the victim?
pardon... I guess the more *moral* choice would be for me never to
believe a word another man ever says... that way I can never be accused
of being an immoral b**ch out of pure innocence.
