I'm currently evaluating HP3000's FTP functions.  Can anyone provide me
information for the following :
 
a.  Can FTP be used in application program CALL INTRINSIC command ?
 
b.  If yes, can FTP command such as OPEN, NAME, PASSWORD, PUT, GET,
    CLOSE to be issued from within a program and let the program to
    control the FTP process ?
 
c.  Is there a Audit Log to keep track of the status of the FTP process
    status, such as remote-node, file transfer status etc. ?
 
(I hv tested using MPE JOB to perform FTP in batch mode, it works but
not able to determine whether the file has been successfully reached
the remote site.)
