I tried it a year or so ago on a moderately large set of JAVA sources. It
seemed like more trouble than it was worth and the time and so I just stuck
with JAVA. The problems had to to with extensive use of some "intresting"
and more advanced C++ stuff like namespaces, templates, the kitchen sink,
etc. I suspect that there were some broken templates on my version of MSVC.
At any rate, after struggling with it and feeling ignorant for a while, I
decided didn't want to learn that much C++ just to do a compile JAVA.
