I agree. Let's just all agree to disagree on our deeply held beliefs and get back to the HP3000. A subject we all know and love. Tom Hula Victor S. Barnes43_20Sep199917:18: [log in to unmask] |

The little red padlock icon indicates that the keyboard is locked for whatever
reason. This will occur if you are running block mode applications on the
3000.
When you say, "My system freezes and even rebooting doesn't bring it back to
life.", you mean that the application stops. But what do you mean by
"rebooting". Do you reboot your PC, restart Reflection of reboot the 3000?
Kind regards,

Subject: Reflections 1 - little red padlcok - what is it?
I use Reflections 1 at work, and in the past couple of days a little
red padlock appears out of nowhere in the bottom left hand corner of
the status bar. My system freezes and even rebooting doesn't bring it
back to life. The sysadmin is at another location (we are a very small
company) and is always unavailable to help.
Can someone here tell me what it means, and how to fix this annoying
problem?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks.
