Too much work! Being a mathematician means that you are
fundamentally lazy. I am surprised that Fred, being a fellow
mathematician, didn't do his best to minimize the pain on his
target (pun intended ;-) audience.
It should be axiomatic that, when dealing with long URLs,
a courtesy visit to http://tinyurl.com should be considered.
